I'm currently an Editorial Fellow for the Commonwealth Club, the nation's oldest and largest public affairs forum. I aid in the production of moderated discussions on topics ranging across politics, culture, society and the economy, and then edit those interviews for publishing in the Club's bi-monthly magazine.

I am a columnist for the Poynter Institute, contributing to a monthly advice newsletter for and by journalists of color. Each month, we answer questions from journalists around the country seeking to navigate their careers, personal lives, and everything in-between.

In my role as freelancer/national news columnist, I was able to report on national politics and local arts for one of the largest LGBT publications on the east coast, covering national stories like anti-trans sports bans, to local LGBT-focused arts programming.

The Paradigm Press

As a college senior, I edited and produced engaging content with speed, clarity, and accuracy for FAU's first Black student newspaper. As Copy Desk Chief, I assisted the Editor-In-Chief in assigning stories that accurately reflect the communities we serve. I trained new reporters on AP style writing and developed new filing and organizational practices, saving our team hours in workflow management. My clips at the Paradigm Press include Investigative reporting, arts and culture writing, and race coverage.
