There's no artist like Aretha Franklin. Her versatility, her range, her tone...there's nothing new I can say about her that hasn't been said about Rolling Stone's Greatest Singer of All Time. The release of RESPECT, the movie detailing Aretha's rise to stardom and search for an artistic voice, has sent me on a deep dive into the Queen's discography as I pack my bags to move across the country for grad school.
